Neil Falkenburn

Neil Falkenburg is a seasoned marina executive, real estate asset manager, and community leader with over three decades of experience in operations, finance, and organizational leadership. Since 1991, he has served as General Manager of West Bay Marina Associates in Olympia, Washington, where he oversees the operations of a 400-slip marina generating over $1 million in annual revenue. His role includes strategic financial management, regulatory compliance, and oversight of major capital projects—most notably, a $16.5 million marina redevelopment currently in design.

From 2006 to 2016, Neil also served as Real Estate Asset Manager for Cascadia Asset Management, managing a commercial portfolio totaling 170,000 square feet. His leadership was key to successfully leasing, maintaining, and ultimately selling all properties under management.

Beyond his professional work, Neil has a long record of public service. He was elected three times to the Griffin School District Board of Directors, serving from 2003 to 2012, including four years as Board Chair. During his tenure, he led district-wide administrative reforms, negotiated teacher contracts without strikes, and oversaw a $14 million school renovation project. Neil’s civic engagement includes over 30 years as a member of the West Olympia Rotary Club, where he served as President and continues to mentor youth through the Interact Club. He has also held leadership roles with the Northwest Marine Trade Association and served as Board Chair of TULIP Credit Union, where he guided the organization through a successful merger.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Central Washington University and lives in Olympia, Washington, where he remains actively involved in both community and industry leadership.
